The theme for this year's conference was “Climate Change in the Southern Appalachians.” The SAMAB conference provided a one-of-a-kind opportunity for people to cross state and institutional lines to come together and examine how climate change will affect the region and how the effects might be mitigated with good information, planning, and management.
