Biography of Lisa Jennings
Lisa Jennings is a research assistant for North Carolina State University, but works as the Content Manager for EFETAC's Template for Assessing Climate Change Impacts and Management Options (TACCIMO). She is in charge of development and management of scientific literature content for the TACCIMO tool, and plays a key role in presenting the tool to potential and current users. Lisa officially joined EFETAC in June 2011, although she had been previously employed with the office as a field intern in the summer of 2009. She recieved her Masters of Forestry from North Carolina State University in May 2011, with a minor in Plant Biology. Her research focused on assessing post-fire vegetation dynamics to guide management recommendations for a longleaf pine restoration project on the North Carolina Piedmont. Lisa also holds a B.S. in Natural Resources - Ecosystem Assessment, with a minor in Forest Management from North Carolina State University. Originally from Northern California, she now resides in Raleigh, where she enjoys gardening in her home landscape and being a self-proclaimed plant geek.
