Biography of Stephanie Worley Firley

 

Stephanie Worley FirleyStephanie Worley Firley joined EFETAC in April 2007. She serves as a biological science information specialist. She has worked closely with partners from the University of North Carolina Asheville’s National Environmental Modeling and Analysis Center and Southern Regional Extension Forestry at the University of Georgia to develop EFETAC’s website and forest threat summary viewer tool. She is a contributing writer for EFETAC's quarterly newsletter, Forest ThreatNet, and her work has appeared in Forest Landowner and Compass magazines. She respresents the Southern Research Station (SRS) on the Science Delivery Advisory Council and is a charter member of the SRS Green Team. Stephanie holds a B.S. in environmental studies (policy and management) from the University of North Carolina at Asheville.
