Biography of Erika Cohen
Erika Cohen is a Resource Information Specialist with EFETAC's Southern Global Change Program (SGCP). She is a Raleigh, North Carolina, native and a geologist by training. She received a B.S. in Geology from North Carolina State University in 2000 and a M.S. in Geology with a focus on geographic information systems (GIS) and remote sensing from the University of Mississippi in 2003. Erika began her Forest Service career on the Ouachita National Forest in Hot Springs, AR, as a GIS trainee and joined SGCP in 2004. Her current projects include modeling regional to continental scale water supply stress and critical loads of nitrogen and sulfur in forest soils.
